Duluth Winter Village expands with more Kids Activities & More Animals! Posted on November 20, 2023November 22, 2023 by Lucie Duluth Winter Village returns with 25 of your favorite local stores in charming wooden cabins, more vendors selling goods and foods inside, plus new activities! But this is not an event to rest on its laurels, despite the heaps and heaps of greenery – including a 25-foot tree – brought in for the event every year. New to the beloved event this year is a Kid’s Shop. Let’s talk about this charming concept for a quick minute. The Hollybeary Shoppe, by local gift store Hucklebeary, lets littles get in on the holiday fun of giving and surprises. Children enter the tiny shop via a child-sized door. Inside are selections of gifts for parents on display and a Santa’s Helper to assist with picking out the present. It’s all flat fee, so there’s no issue with pricing. The child emerges with a wrapped gift for their adult! Seriously, how cute is THAT?! Stroll down Candy Cane Lane, the new indoor family-focused area: This area will delight kids and a parent is only as happy as their least happy kid. True Story.
