About Cruising CRUISING IN DULUTH Duluth welcomed a handful of cruise ships in the mid-1990s and early 2000s. Then in 2022, Duluth saw a new era of passenger cruising come to the Twin Ports. With nine cruise liners steaming under the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge and seven disembarking at the DECC in 2022, Duluth is now considered an attractive passenger destination. The summer of 2026 promises another seven ships and the opportunity to watch these regal vessels enter our Duluth-Superior harbor. The cruise industry forecasts more leisure cruises in our area in the years to come.
