DSSO Masterworks 6 – New Frontiers

America’s music, like the nation itself, belongs to everyone. We celebrate that spirit with a whirling masquerade waltz from trailblazer Amy Beach, followed by the world premiere of Erin Aldridge’s boundary-blurring, bluegrass-inspired fiddle concerto, featuring Danny Frank & the Smoky Gold. We close with Copland’s towering, boisterous Third Symphony featuring its famous Fanfare for the Common Man.
