At first glance, the City Side Convention Center looks like a straightforward 90’s convention build of clean lines and practical space connected to Downtown by the skyway. But once you’re inside, it’s clear the designers were after something more playful. This place is basically a postmodern ode to a Great Lakes freighter, with a surprising architectural link to the Louvre tucked into its backstory.
