Minnesota Slip Bridge Minnesota Slip Bridge The Minnesota Slip Bridge (Blue Bridge) is a pedestrian lift bridge spanning the Minnesota Slip on Duluth’s waterfront. The bridge is heavily used by foot and bicycle traffic to connect Canal Park with the DECC and other businesses. 2026 Minnesota Slip Bridge Hours Scheduled times will be increased based on the hours of conventions and special events at the DECC. Please note that this is an operational bridge. It may be in an upright position for several minutes to allow for passage of charter fishing vessels. There may also be unexpected interruptions in service due to weather, repair or maintenance. The Minnesota Slip Bridge is owned by the City of Duluth and operated by the DECC.
