Ice Rental Ice rental The DECC houses two skating sheets of ice and one curling facility, which can be used or transformed for different activities and events, including hockey, curling and ice skating. Please remember that each ice time will have a 15 minute resurface time attached to the end of it. Minimum ice rental time is 1 hour and maximum is 2 hours. Duluth Figure Skating Club lessons Get out on the ice by attending the Duluth Figure Skating Club’s (DFSC) classes. They run for two hours and are open for all ages and abilities. And it all starts at the DECC’s North Pioneer Hall, where Olympians and fun seekers alike gather together and practice. The hall eclipses all other curling venues in the United States with 13 curling sheets and has hosted two World Championships and the US Olympic Trials.
