DECC to Host Local Media Event

Duluth, MN (February 23, 2021) – The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) will be the gathering space for Duluth-area media outlets as they team up to answer public questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

On Wednesday, February 24th, local media stations including WDIO, CBS 3, KBJR 6, KQDS Fox 21, WDSE, and the Duluth News Tribune are joining efforts to feature health experts and give advice on-air and online. The event is titled “COVID-19 Vaccine: Finding Answers” and it will be hosted in the DECC’s Harbor Side Convention Center.

DECC Interim Executive Director, Roger Reinert, said, “We are proud to support local media outlets as they come together to help educate our community. Now more than ever, this is a time for our community to work together. Supporting these outlets as they host this educational event is exactly why the DECC is a public authority with a public service mission.”

Each of the local media outlets taking part in the event have listed where the public can watch the live-streamed one-hour special online and/or on Facebook.
