Music On The Ship Presented By Pizza Lucé A Free Concert Series on the William A Irvin Thursday, August 1 – The Hot Club of Duluth THE HOT CLUB OF DULUTH The Hot Club of Duluth plays the jazz music of the roaring ’20s — from melancholy torch songs to the hot jazz of Django Reinhardt to Duke Ellington. The quartet is composed of Eli Bissonett on violin, Veikko Lepisto on standup bass, and Jimi Cooper and Darin Bergsven on guitars. ABOUT MUSIC ON THE SHIP When Singer/ Songwriter Charity Benedict returned to Duluth, she was looking for a unique venue to bring local musicians. Music On The Ship is her vision & creation! Benedict says, “I wanted to find a really cool place that had never showcased local musicians and bring those two worlds together, vibe and energy.” Because of her efforts, we’ll be VIBING for six Thursdays this summer! Starting July 25, the Irvin will feature a variety of genres (from jazz to hard rock to 80’s pop) performed by local musicians.
