Music On The Ship

Presented By Pizza Lucé

A Free Concert Series on the William A Irvin

Thursday, July 25 – Charity & Nate / Eldri Snow and The Wintry Mix

After 13 years of their own musical adventures, Charity and Nate are back on the stage joining forces once again! Charity is a singer songwriter born and raised in Duluth and recently moved back home to this city on a hill. Her alternative folk-pop-jazz sounds mixed with Nates rock and bluegrass layers create sounds of delight that grip the audiences to feel like they are part of the songs.

In the last 20-plus years, singer-songwriter Eldri Snow has gone from being a self-proclaimed Twin Ports music groupie to writing and performing her own songs and hosting the Eldri Snow Variety Show at Earth Rider Festival Field. A soulful, down-to-earth folk singer, Snow is inspired by greats like Nanci Griffith and Gillian Welch and local favorites Feeding Leroy. She serves as co-director of the Great Northern Squash Festival in Chaffey, Wis. The Wintry Mix features “Misisipi” Mike Wolf on guitar and Shanna Willie on the drum kit.

When Singer/ Songwriter Charity Benedict returned to Duluth, she was looking for a unique venue to bring local musicians. Music On The Ship is her vision & creation!

Benedict says, “I wanted to find a really cool place that had never showcased local musicians and bring those two worlds together, vibe and energy.” Because of her efforts, we’ll be VIBING for six Thursdays this summer!
Starting July 25, the Irvin will feature a variety of genres (from jazz to hard rock to 80’s pop) performed by local musicians.
