TRUTH

TRUTH

The truth is that the DECC creates a conservative $58M in economic impact from an aging facility. These ten venues see a lot of action and sadly suffers from deferred maintenance.

SUMMER STEAMING

The DECC has faulty pipe fittings, which force us to run 190-degree water through our pipes 24-7 – or thousands of joints throughout the facility will leak. This is true even in the summer.

The DECC could recoup 40% of its heating and cooling costs by replacing these faulty joints with welded pipes.

ACCESSIBILITY

The truth is that we need to invest in our accessibility, given our growing aging population.

This means upgrading elevators, escalators, and seating in our auditorium, the largest in the region.  We aim to replace our current seating with larger, generously spaced chairs while creating additional seating closer to the stage.
