Irvin brings more Kid Fun on Board

NEW EXPERIENCES FOR KIDS

The William A. Irvin floating museum has always been a great deal for kids.  Not just because children 10 and under are free with a paying adult, but because exploring the boat is a go-at-your-own-pace adventure. That’s perfect for little ones who want to move along or linger at something particularly interesting.

Now the Irvin has a couple of new things for the younger set. Free for all kids (even kids at heart)  is a colorful “William A Irvin” paper hat.  Starting the week, we’ll have our “Seek and Scavenge” book (think I-spy) narrated by Susie the Seagull.

LEARNING WHILE ENTERTAINED

Even small shipmates will enjoy finding the pictured items along the tour areas. Older kids and adults can learn a bit more about the nautical pieces with informative captions. Books will be available for $2 and kids will earn a treasure coin for finishing. Meanwhile, if kids crave more books, they can explore pages filled with magical tales, including a delightful bedtime story about unicorns. These stories spark imagination, foster a love for reading, and offer a wonderful escape into enchanting worlds.

It’s all but guaranteed that a family will learn something from Susie’s Seek & Scavenge book. Clearly, she’s one smart gull.

We’re giving you a head start! Here are some examples of what you can expect to find in the book:
