Passenger Information EMBARKATION & DEBARKATION TIPS DEBARKING PASSENGERS BAGGAGE All your checked baggage will be waiting on shore the morning of your arrival. You will take a tender from your ship for U.S. Customs on shore. From there, you may collect your bags and head toward your next mode of transportation. Staff will be available to assist you with bags from the pickup location to your transportation. NEED A RIDE? Once you have collected your baggage, head to the tent just down the street with flags that say, “Find Your Ride Here” Uber and Lyft have more availability and are easier to call in Duluth than Taxis. Take a seat, and the Ride Finder attendant will communicate with the vehicle waiting zone to find your ride. They will direct the vehicle to pick you up at the tent. INDEPENDENTLY BOOKED TRANSPORTATION Once you have collected your baggage, head to the tent just down the street with flags that say, “Find Your Ride Here.” Go to the Ride Finder staff member and let them know the following information: Which company is your ride book through – taxi company, Uber, Lyft, your grandson, etc. Estimated time of arrival The time you called the ride Vehicle type License plate number Then take a seat. The Ride Finder will communicate with the vehicle waiting zone to find your ride. They will direct the vehicle to pick you up at the tent. EMBARKING PASSENGERS CHECK-IN Check-in and baggage drop-off are located at the entrance of Door 6 on Harbor Drive. All carry-ons must be scanned but will immediately be returned to your person. Once you have checked in, you may walk across Harbor Drive to the tender loading location and begin your vacation! INDEPENDENT ARRIVALS Please do not arrive prior to 10 am. Irvin freighter: While you will be going in the opposite direction of the coach bus traffic, you will not be in danger Head through the fenced gate checkpoint Unload by the large Garage Door 6 If you are dropping off your baggage in advance of checking in, the steps remain the same.
