GO Show

The event is for 55+ adults that are planning ahead for retirement but still going at a rapid pace.  “GO is an acronym for Getting Older” says Tracy Lundeen, expo producer, of the name. “Today’s older adults are still going at a rapid pace. They work, go on trips and adventures, hangout with the grandkids, serve their communities and so much more. Many people in their 50’s and beyond do not like to be labeled “seniors” or “senior citizens” hence the GO name-Getting Older but still going”.

The expo will feature a day of information and fun including exhibitors with information on healthcare, insurance, living options, travel, financial planning, recreation, and more. There will be presentations and music performances throughout the day as well.  “We will be working closely with the DECC on booths and seating layouts for various activities and will comply with the latest requirements of the federal and state government for the safety of our patrons and exhibitors” added Lundeen.

GO Show hours are 9AM to 2PM. Free tickets will be available beginning later this summer at area Walgreen Pharmacies and exhibitor locations.
