Know Before You Go: Duluth Winter Village 2025

December 6 & 7, 10am-4pm | DECC, 350 Harbor Drive

Planning your visit to the 9th annual Duluth Winter Village? Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your European-inspired market by the lake!

Don’t Miss These Highlights

Saturday-Only Special: Professional Holiday Photos Mark your calendars! Professional holiday portraits in front of our stunning 25-foot tree are available on Saturday only. This is your chance to capture a holiday moment with a picture-perfect backdrop.

The Tinsel Tavern is TRIPLE the Size Our famous experiential holiday bar is back and bigger than ever! After last year’s overwhelming popularity, we’ve tripled the capacity. Sip on specialty cocktails crafted by Vikre Distillery in your souvenir Duluth Winter Village mug.

Bring the Right Gear

Shopping Tip: Bring a large tote or bag to consolidate your purchases! With two Makers Tents, an on-site blacksmith, and charming wooden shopping cabins filled with local vendors like Frost River, Lake Superior Art Glass, and Hucklebeary, you’ll want space for all your treasures.

Dress for the Weather: While much of the festivities are outdoors by the harbor, you can warm up inside the DECC’s Yule Hall where the food and Candy Cane Lane are located.

Parking

Parking at the DECC is $10.

Fun for the Whole Family

Atomic Ice Skating: Lace up for free indoor skating (free skate rental included!) with a DJ spinning tunes. It’s the perfect way to make memories on the ice.

Animal Encounters: Meet our friendly llamas and visit Hug-a-Hen, where you can hold adorable hat-wearing chickens. Kids will love these furry and feathered friends!

For the Little Ones: The Hollybeary Kid Store returns with more gift options, so kids can shop for surprise presents for their grown-ups. They go into the kid-sized door, select an unwrapped item, and pop out with a beautifully wrapped surprise for under the tree.

Plus, there’s a dedicated Small Children and Nursing Area courtesy of the Duluth Mom.

Warm Up with Amazing Eats & Drinks

Try the Soup Flight (New!): Warm up with a selection of soups—a perfect way to sample different flavors on a chilly December day.

Indulge in Local Flavors: From Positively Third Street Bakery to Hungry Hippie Tacos, Love Creamery, and TBSP Waffles, there’s something for every craving. And yes, there will be warm mulled wine and other festive beverages to keep you cozy!
