DECC Employee of the Month: Earle Berger

August Employee of the Month

Earle Berger, Building Services

Earle is a long-time employee and will be celebrating 16 years at the DECC next month. Those years have all been spent in the Building Services Department as a Unit 11- Expo Services. They prepare and set up for conventions and events, help as needed during the event, and tear down/take items away when it concludes. He enjoys his co-workers, the variety of his job with different events coming in and out, and the hustle and bustle of the building.

Earle enjoys trivia, the Vikings, and hunting for the best burger place around. He is a big fan of music, especially classic rock. His favorite concert at the DECC was when Elton John visited.

Earle says he is humbled and honored to be our next employee of the month. He deserves the recognition. Congratulations, Earle!

Reason for Nomination:
“Earl works very hard, does his best and is soft-spoken and kind. He’s not flashy, he just does his job in a quiet manner. Skirting tables, picking them up, hauling them and then taking everything apart after a trade show is heavy work and he just plugs away in a pleasant manner.” – Anonymous

“Earle is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is kind, generous, and goes out of his way to help and think of others. He is one of the reasons the DECC is as great as it is.” – Anonymous
