Introducing the new AMSOIL Arena! After many years of discussion and planning, working closely with our partners at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and nearly three years after Duluth citizens voted overwhelmingly to help fund it, our new arena is now open. We have greatly expanded opportunities to enjoy our UMD men’s and women’s hockey teams, as well as major entertainers, more conventions, larger trade shows, and other events. 

AMSOIL Arena | Time Lapse Video

The time lapse begins with a UMD vs. Wisconsin Men's hockey game on 1/15/11 and shows the changeover process to a Jeff Dunham Comedy show on 1/16/11. After the show, AMSOIL Arena goes back to a hockey rink.  The video ends with recreation ice skating and figure skaters.
